Zoroastrian Singles was founded by Afreed Mistry in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, at a time when traditional ways of meeting were no longer possible.
Recognizing this gap, Afreed launched virtual speed dating sessions, bringing together Zoroastrian singles from North America, India, and across the globe.
These monthly events ran successfully for two years, creating meaningful opportunities for connection and community.
As restrictions eased after 2021, these initiatives naturally evolved into in-person gatherings. Afreed continues to support the community by thoughtfully matching individuals based on their preferences and compatibility.
In addition to matchmaking, she has curated engaging experiences such as networking games, speed dating events, and mini-date formats, designed to make meeting new people both comfortable and enjoyable.
To date, Afreed has successfully matched six couples who have gone on to build happy marriages and families.
